Blackheath house is a full renovation and addition to an existing character home.  The house was lifted and rotated to make way for extensive additions.

The exterior colours of stark black and white gives a fresh and unique approach to the character features. A large black front door with side lights and black garage door are framed by the black trim.  The theme continues inside where modern pendants have been selected to soften the black stair case and moody kitchen.  VJ's are used as feature cladding throughout and creates a seamless link between old and new.

The upper living quarters sprawls over 2 split levels where the existing house has been reconfigured to create a parents retreat.  The beautiful existing casement windows were retained and restored with new cathedral glass giving back the charm and character to this large family home.
